Lions Club
While the Tremont Lions Club was chartered on February 20,1968, it is one of more than 44,000 Lions Clubs in 192 countries. There are 1.4 million Lions Club members. Since 1917, local Lions Clubs have offered people the opportunity to give something back to their communities by doing local projects and donating millions of dollars to bring sight to the blind. The programs of local Lions Clubs may vary, however, the mission has always been the same: “We serve.”
