Tremont Water & Sewer Department

The Water & Sewer Department serves the residents of the Village by providing quality water to approximately 1,000 customers. The average monthly usage is about 6.8 million gallons with the annual usage surpassing 82 million gallons.

Any new home owner should contact the Village Office at 925-5711 to arrange for transfer of billing for water and sewer service.

Please Note: There will be a $10.00 debt service fee for infrastructure improvements beginning with the November 2017 bill and continuing for 20 years.

Water Rates

  • $16.81 for the first 1,000 gallons
  • $7.86 for each 1,000 gallons over the initial 1,000 gallons. All rates for water will have an automatic increase of 1.5% minimum per year.

  • $17.94 for the first 1,000 gallons
  • $7.00 for each 1,000 gallons over the initial 1,000 gallons. All rates for sewer will have an automatic increase of 1.5% minimum per year.
